Jenna Claire

I had to write about all the cute things that Jenna Claire says and mispronouces, so I wont EVER forget them. She is so expressive when she talks, so when she mispronounces words, it is just precious!I know i am biaseds, but it is so cute.

1. Instead of Thumb, it is a Flumb.

2. Instead of Barack Obama, it is Rocko Bama.

3. Instead of the Great Wolf Lodge, it is Big Bad Wolf Lodge.

4. Instead of Icicles, it is Ice Breaks...dont know where she got that one

5. Instead of Hippopotamus, it is Hippopominus.

6. For a long time, she couldnt say Feronti, it was Fertonti.

I just didnt want to forget all the little things she says. She was so sweet today. I had to go to work, even though it iced last night, and she was SO concerned. She said, "Mommy, you saw the weather!! It is slippewy out there. I dont want you to get hurt!" As she was saying that, she was tearing up. I love that girl! She knows how to melt mommy's heart!

Trying to get back into blogging!

I know that i havent blogged in a while, so i thought i would update it while i had a few minutes. Everything is going good at the Feronti household. Nothing too exciting has been happening around here lately.
Patrick is somewhat enjoying kindergarten. He is doing very well and we are very proud of him. We are very lucky as parents to have a child that WANTS to learn as much as he does! Now if he gets "bored" in school, we might have some problems. If he isnt entertained, he will "entertain" himself which isnt always the best scenerio. Just this week, he was supposed to be doing patterns with beads, and decided it would be more fun to make smiley faces out of the beads. Well, his teacher had him pull his clip. NOT SO GOOD with mommy and daddy! Needless to say, he spent more time than he wanted to working on patterns in his room. Oh and he wrote quite a few sentences about following directions. Other than that, don and i couldnt be more proud of him. He still LOVES music and currently likes to rock out in dons office. it has a set of drums, a few guitars and a amp. It is very loud at the feronti house, and i can stomach the noise most of the time because they have so much fun with it.
Jenna Claire is very entertaining herself. She is doing well in Ms.Janices class. She is also still in her little cheerleading class. She enjoys it. She says the cutest things, and is very animated. She definately keeps don and i entertained. She LOVES to play dress up, wear my shoes, and do "polish" I enjoy having some one on one time with her on Fridays when i am off and patrick is in school.

I just started going to a new Bible study that i am really enjoying. It is "Created to be His Help Meet" Basiclly, it is about God's design for us as wifes and mothers. I have really enjoyed it so far, and i think i will get alot out of it.

We also have our new pet "Freddy" that Patrick got from Santa. He is a Bearded dragon lizard. Patrick LOVES it, and to tell you the truth, he has grown on all of us. I never thought i would have a lizard at my house AND hold it. Jenna Claire has only touched it one time and started crying and ran to wash her hands. She wont touch it but likes to look at it and feed it.

I will try to keep this thing updated and post some pictures soon.

See ya

Patrick riding his bike with no training wheels!!

Patrick rode his bike with no training wheels today!!

We decided to play outside for a little bit after church today, and Patrick told Don, "I want to take my training wheels off, Daddy" I have to say that Don was a little hesitant. We have tried before and it only turned into a meltdown where Patrick was extremely mad and wanted to kick his bike, or never ride it again. I wonder where he got that from?!??! Typical male!
It was one of those mommy moments that you will never forget seeing him ride his bike down the street! I wanted to cry seeing my baby boy getting so big, but i couldn't help dying laughing watching Don running/waddling behind him ready to catch him if he fell. It was quite a sight, but also very sweet. What a good daddy!! When i figure out how to get this stinkin video loaded, i give you FULL permission to laugh at him!!!
Way to go, Big Boy!!!!
(I don't know how this post got so messed up, but quite frankly, i am tired of messing with it. I also give you FULL permission to make fun of me!) :)

Jenna Claire's First Hair Cut

Sitting in the chair at "Sweet N Sassy"
Keep your head down!!
Be still!!
Finishing up!! So pretty!!!
Checking herself out in the mirror!

These are pictures of Jenna Claire's first hair cut. Wait, i don't know if this would be considered her first hair cut, or the one she gave herself the day before!!

Yes, my sweet baby girl cut her curly, red locks!! I went for a jog last Sunday, and when i got home i heard Jenna Claire crying. When i went to see what was going on, Don said "Honey, they are no longer allowed to have scissors in their room. Jenna Claire cut her hair!" My first reaction wanted to be to panic, cry, scream, or all of the above. But when i heard her crying, i had to be calm. She was crying because daddy said we would have to go get a haircut and get it fixed. She said "I don't want to have hair like Patricks!!!!" We explained to her that it wouldn't be as short as Patricks.

She really didn't cut too much, and with her having curly hair, it wasn't that noticeable. She really did need to get a good haircut to get all the old baby hair cut off. It looks very cute and is even MORE curly that it was before the cut.

Jenna Claire, you are such a big girl!! Maybe TOO big!

Patrick and Jenna Claire get to pet two baby deer!

Little Bambi
The older one "Buck" was so curious!
How cute is this??
We went out to our friends, Paul and Carrie's house for Labor Day. Paul owns a game ranch and has had to bottle feed these two baby deer. It was really amazing to see these little guys, and a awesome experience for the kids.
These deer were so curious and friendly! They will both be released on the game ranch when they get a little older. Paul told us something that i thought was very interesting. These deer have bonded so much with Paul that if they were released in the wild today, they would still come up to him 5 years from now. When we walked away from the stall, they were crying as they were watching us leave!!
That is a once in a life time experience!

First Day of Kindergarten!!!!

Patrick sitting at his table right when he got to school.
LOVE this picture!!!

First day of Kindergarten picture!!
Patrick's first week of kindergarten went really well. He has seemed to enjoy it. I will have to say it is a adjustment for all of us. I am adjusting to not being able to check on him throughout the day. It is pretty hard waiting ALL DAY to see how his day is going. I just keep reminding myself, "he is fine!!" He cant be with mommy his whole life!!
There are a few things he is getting used to as well. First of all, he doesn't take a nap anymore. He is used to a two hour nap which he is not getting anymore. He is definitely tired when he gets home. He is also making new friends which he tells us about when he gets home. There are only 15 kids in his class which we were excited about. (still a lot more than he is used to)
Overall, i think his first week went great! We are so proud of you, Patrick!!!

Jenna Claire

Jenna Claire is in the middle

Jenna Claire is 3 going on 25. She has been cracking us up with all the stuff she says. Between the drama of having a 3 year old little girl, and her asking me to change her "polish" EVERYDAY she keeps us busy and entertained.

She recently started a cheer/dance/gymnastic class which she enjoys. It is only one day a week for 45 minutes which is perfect! I will try to post some more pictures of her soon.
